This includes information on the limits that have been placed on access to our facilities to protect our patients and frequently asked questions.
The System Level Measures Framework was introduced by the Ministry of Health in 2016/17 and encourages a system-wide approach to improving health outcomes.
It presents a core set of national outcomes for the health sector to strive towards with the opportunity to identify a set of local contributory measures, aligned with each of the national outcomes.

Measles Fact Sheet – News item
With the large number of measles cases around the country, we can expect to see some measles cases on the Coast at some stage.
Measles is a highly infectious virus that can be life threatening. Complications occur in about one in three people, and for them measles can be serious, even fatal.
