Buller Health is the home of all West Coast DHB services for Westport and Northern Buller.
Buller Health is located on Derby St, between Cobden St and Pakington St in Westport. There are two entrances. Call our reception during business hours to find out which entrance you should use.
The Buller Health team works closely with colleagues in Greymouth to provide seamless care.
Note: Buller Health does not have an after hours Emergency Department. In an emergency, call 111.

Use this entrance for all general healthcare and GP visits, and any time you need to visit Buller Health after hours or in the weekend.

Red Cross provides a free shuttle service for patients travelling
The service runs Monday to Saturday.
Times vary, but it is best to book early in the day. For more information or to make a booking, call (03) 789 7659 and ask for the Red Cross Transport Service.
Patient donations are appreciated.
If you are a patient; you can be taken by car to be dropped off at the main entrance, there is a car DROP-OFF ZONE for patients outside Buller Health.
Volunteers are on hand at the DROP-OFF ZONE during the day to help people to find their way to appointments.
Reception staff inside the main entrance can help you with directions to your destination.
Your driver can make use of the free shuttle bus service to come back to Buller Health, or arrange to come back to the DROP-OFF ZONE later to collect you at an agreed time.
If you are a mobility parking permit holder you can park in one of the designated mobility car parking spaces.
