Under the Crown Entities Act 2004, Article 149C, West Coast DHB is required to submit a Statement of Performance Expectations before the start of the new financial year which is 1 July 2020. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, legislation was passed on 30 April 2020 which allows a Minister to extend this deadline by up to 3 months. West Coast DHB has received notice that the Minister of Health has agreed to extend the requirement to finalise the 2020/21 Statement of Performance Expectations to 15 August 2020.

I refer to your email dated 27 February 2020 requesting the following information under the Official Information Act from West Coast DHB.
1. I wanted to enquire into the level of insulation at the Reefton Integrated Health Centre/ Ziman House.
a. Is there underfloor insulation, double glazed windows and when the last time the ceiling was pink batted.
b. Also if there were any plans to insulate the building in the future?
In preparation for the demolition needed to make way for construction of the new Buller Health facility, we are relocating a number of services to other areas of the
facility over the weekend starting Friday 22 November 2019.
From Monday 25 November, our Cobden Street entrance will become the single point of entry for the majority of our services, including Buller Medical Centre.
